HELLO??? Hi :3 I've been thinking about creating a neocities for a hot minute and now! I have produced something resembling a website. I personally did not grow up in the age of personal website making or MySpace BUT I was a teenager when Tumblr was poppin back in the early 2010s (wild to see kids these days romanticize the times). It's weird because I remember people going ham with customizing their sites with the code and graphics and I feel like people don't do that anymore? I'm speculating that most young people on the internet these days mainly are on their phones versus computers. I guess there'd be no point putting all that effort into making your blog pretty if people will only see the mobile version.
lol but I digress...
Yeah with how shitty the internet has been over the last few years now, I thought it would be cool to make an indie site on NeoCities. I've tried on and off a few times but now I actually commited to working on it (funny enough I'M doing it when I have less time because I'm working at the hospital now WEE). Even though I've recommited myself to putting pen to paper for more DEEP thoughts and musings, having a little corner of the internet where I can just write Livejournal style is nice. And no word limits or people hopping here to take my words in bad faith.
Anyways, hopefully this site continues to evolve as I get better at HTML and CSS. I think it looks great so far! Stay snazzy and go drink some water :)
